Hello. I have a question regarding people’s experience incorporating mental rehearsal for forms or technique.
Such as Sum Chen or Shaolin punch. I heard its best to visualize it done correctly. Another question, I have is when practicing forms or techniques. It it best to go slow always. Or go from slow and proper motion to faster motion?
Also, for Sum Chen, I feel that when you thrust both hands out like a spear, it feels like an opportunity for energy projection. Is that what it is? Or is it like actually striking someone’s physical body, like their shoulder or something?
And I also have that same question for the Shaolin punch as well.
Any thoughts?
